PASSION ON DISPLAY

I wrote this poem in one of my SoftSkill classes which was held while I was undergoing my training after joining TCS.A video of around 5 mins length was shown to us and we were asked to write anything related to this video. So I tried my hand on writing a poem..:)..Here is my creation.

What do you require to succeed in life,
And for it how can you strive.
The word you are looking for is PASSION
It will ship you abroad in any situation.

Of your life be a Lancer Armstrong
Cycle through any jungle and storm.
I know you can make it with ease
and revive from any kind of disease.

Of your life be a Nadia Comaneci
You don't need to invite anybody's pity
To succeed in life you need perfection
which you can acquire with hardwork and passion.

Of your life be Carl Lewis and Kapil Dev
Rock your life's sport and be brave.
Fight against any kind of glitch
You can score century on any pitch.

Of your life be Sergei Bubka
To be the champion you don't need Abracadabra
Just have a gut to compete against yourself
and you'll succeed in closing the doors of hell.

Of your life be a Michael Schumaker
Always know that a second delay leads to failure
And of your life be a Pele
No matter if you get a kick or a punch
But have faith that failure's head you will crunch.

Let us have such a Passion On Display
Be a winner not tomorrow but today.

A Lump In My Throat

We all have heard about the derailment of Gyaneshwari. When i heard it, I was like yeah it happened and such accidents happen a lot nowadays. But i never get bothered about this incident to my deepest core.I cursed the Maoists and thats it.My mind lost tracks of this incident. When I was returning from Kolkata to Chaibasa ,I saw the derailed, broken bogies of the train. When I saw the train it was not the broken apart bogies which attracted my sight and mind but the clothes thrown haphazardly on the surface of train. My eyes were receiving the rays from the clothes lying around and my mind was busy calculating what kind of people were travelling in this train. Were they old, middle aged or children. How many small kids were there? How many children have lost their mother and father?I could see a red colored small pant,a thin towel, dhotis,a small black bag which seemed like a college bag. These memories are fresh in my mind and i don't know when it's going to fade away. Some of the bogies were broken into complete half and some were intact. When I saw the intact one my mind gathered the thought what if some bodies are still inside those bogies and their relatives might be searching for them. This thought sent chills down my spine.I am eager to know when will people get cheesed off and will take action against these heartless people. We fought back the british so why can't we fight back these cruel animals.well I am waiting to know till what time people are going to cork up their feelings and i am sure one day a group is going to start to take initiative against the naxalites and show them their position ,applying the same tactics as owned by the naxalites(offcourse i am not going to start it but one can expect any kind of changes possible :)).Well I am one of those who can only bare their heart.Lets see what government and sufferers are going to do in future.

INDIA’S GROWTH ,A DILEMMA WHERE TO GO

Current GDP of India 6.9%. Expecting a two digit figure within 2-3 years. Current FDI(Foreign Direct Investment ) around 2 billion. Expecting to witness growth in a year.Increasing infrastructure, developing cities, industrialization, Increase in SEZs are some of the entities which mark the status of India. But a terrifying question that is jumping in front of us is should we celebrate our urbanization or mourn for deteriorating condition of poor villagers and tribals. Where are we leading to?Are we fulfilling one sector of India at the expense of others ? If so then we should throw that group of people out of our land because anyways they are not going to get a normal life here.
Government is taking steps to control poverty, to step up the economy of poor villagers and to educate unprivileged students but we are getting only a part of the output instead of whole. Till now Rs 29,000 crores has been invested in Narmada Project of Gujarat but only 29% of the work is complete. Lands of the farmers are still getting flooded. SEZs(Special Economic Zones) are being set up on poor farmers land. It is necessary for development. But then it is also important to give them place to live and employment. There is no interaction between the government and the people from whom land is being taken .When MOUs were sighned with Tata and Essar, the locals were anxious whose land is going to be sacrificed. Whether there will be any compensation, rehabilitation or employment for those locals. On enquiring about it they were told it is not allowed to discuss the matter with any third party. This shows how responsible our government is.
Another problem seeded by poverty is “NAXALITES”,the most dreaded intrinsic threat to our country as Mr.Manmohan Singh said. In 2009, 2258 districts were declared as naxal area,1951 naxalites got arrested. A force of 26,000 cadres is being trained to fight against Maoists. Manmohan Singh announced unless naxalites do not throw their arms we will not have any talk with them. But did Indian government tried to deal with this problem at grassroot level. Naxals were born in 1967 in Naxalbari village of westBengal to fight for the rights of peasants and since then there is no turning back and result is such a vast aggregation of naxals. Have government tried to introduce any facilities in the naxal prone areas for the upliftment of the people. Maoists are fighting for the people but in a very degrading manner which is to be erased. But from few sources it is known that naxalites are not harming any NGOs but when they come face to face with any government based forces they become violent. Their main aim is to destroy government. It is quite interesting to know that all the Maoist prone areas, poverty prone areas and mineral based areas overlap each other. This shows wherever there is poverty naxalites are fighting for the rights. In mineral based areas tribals are overthrown to carry out the work of progress and as a result Maoists are abundant in those areas. Government need to solve this problem. They need to work for the progress of backward areas in real terms and not only by allocating money in the budget.
In India there are various layers in between planning and execution of various development schemes.Government need to act against all the adverse situations and erode the corruption which is engulfing each and every sector of India. Its an urgent situation to make rich and poor both richer. They need to interact with poors as a true politician not a corrupted one.

LIFZ FUN

Look around and cheer up
See how life goes on
Feel the essence of every thing
Grab every chortles in life they bring

Stopping of hourglass is not a halt
Its forcing us to make a new plot
U just have to turn it over
And there on life again flowers

Turn ur inner self on,cloy ur life up
Thats for what u r brought up
Chuck ur worries and ur grievances
Have courage to move on
Wid positive stances

Up and down there it goes
Engulfing all the cons and pros
Sometimes following shadows in the dark
Sometimes confused in the stark

Like a ping pong, play with problems
Win over the bouncing worries that bloom
With right angle and right force
Smash it out of your course

Do whatever you want
Live life as you want it to be
Be with urself whenever u r in trouble
Dont constrain urself or feeble

If u want to jump in the rain
Do Without thinking of loss and gain
If u want to laugh like a mad
Do it without any drop of dread

Its upon u to fill ur path
With bouquets of wonderful flowers
And reach the proximity of endless joy
Dragging ur fears and worries away
